Event description

The heavy rainfall may result flooding of roads and low-lying areas and in vulnerable hilly areas. Gusty winds may result in fallen branches and lightning may also pose a risk to persons outdoors. Thunderstorms and lightning are likely to accompany the heavier showers. Winds may occasionally gust to strong winds reaching near tropical strorm force strength, approximately 55 km/h.

Instructions

Avoid flooded roadways, prepare to evacuate flood-prone areas including but not limited to Marcus Garvey Drive, Bog Walk Gorge and remain indoors during lightning activity
